Aleksandra Gawlik-Lipinski is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Independent Nurse Consultant, and PhD Candidate at the University of Leicester, researching asthma mortality in children. With 18 years of experience across clinical care, research, education, and policy, she specialises in respiratory medicine in general practice. Aleks is a Clinical Fellow for CYP Asthma and Improvement Coach for NRAP at the RCP. She also holds leadership roles with ARNS and the BTS, including Co-Chair of the BTS Statement on paediatric cough and Vice-Chair of the ARNS Research and Education Sub-Committee.

Caroline founded Food Allergy Aware Ltd in 2013 to enable the food service business to understand and embrace the Food Hypersensitive (FHS) customer. We develop solutions to give businesses the tools, knowledge and expertise to not only manage allergen processes and the labelling regulations, but to take it to the next level and offer a positive customer journey for the FHS diner. In 2019 Caroline won the SOFHT ‘Company of the Year Award’ Caroline has written various articles for many industry publications including Garden Centre Forum, and The Caterer, she has also spoken at various events on the topics of Food Allergen Awareness within the food service industry. https://foodallergyaware.co.uk/news-room/ Caroline is supporting a Near Miss Reporting Campaign, to highlight the importance of managing hazards and risks specifically related to allergen management, and how Near Miss reporting and root cause analysis can ensure a safety for the FHS customer, and prevent a fatality from occurring.

Specialist Paediatric Dietitian & Lecturer

Hannah is a Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian with nearly 20 years of experience in nutrition, including 10 years as a registered Dietitian. Her specialist areas are paediatric and pregnancy nutrition, with her private practice, bump2baby nutrition, focused on supporting families living with food allergy. She has extensive NHS experience, leading on the development of allergy pathways to improve care for children, and now lectures in Nutrition and Dietetics at Wrexham University. Hannah is Treasurer of the BDA Paediatric subgroup, a media spokesperson working with outlets such as Channel 5, Yahoo and the Daily Mail, and has supported the Vegan Society and allergy charities.

Immunisation Specialist/Senior Research Nurse

Karen Ford is an Immunisation Specialist and Senior Research Nurse at the Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG), University of Oxford. Karen joined the team over a decade ago and has since played a pivotal role in numerous paediatric and adult vaccine research studies. Her work has focused on evaluating new vaccines and vaccine schedules for a wide range of diseases, including COVID-19. In addition to her research responsibilities, Karen has led OVG's immunisation education programme, providing training and support to healthcare professionals. Karen is a registered paediatric nurse; she has a Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) degree, an MSc in Public Health and a PGCert Medical Education.

Sandra is a dermatology nurse consultant with 38 years experience .. She developed the role of dermatology liaison sister in 1990, the first post of this kind in the UK . Her interests include paediatric dermatology, care of children and their families with atopic eczema , nurse led services in primary care, teledermatology and vulval skin conditions . She has published widely (>300 papers), presented nationally and internationally and been involved in research, policy and guideline development nationally. She was awarded Public Servant of the Year in 2003 and the title of Queen’s Nurse in 2007, Fellow of Queen’s Nursing Institute in 2012 and OBE in 2014.
